CYCLE B - 2024-2025
The children are all looking forward to reading their class novel, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone by JK Rowling.
Year 6 had a great time at Blessed Trinity at a Year 6 Dynamic Morning. They completed some maths challenges and joined in with some performing arts. Well done to Lincoln and Zahra for standing out to the teachers for your effort and participation. The drama involved using freeze frames for various scenarios eg detention, parents evening, football match etc.
Thank you to Gary from Flat Stan First Aid for teaching the children some essential emergency first aid. DR ABC.

Class 4 talked to the whole school about the Beat the Street initiative. All the children in school went home with their maps and family cards ready to start on Wednesday 18th September.
Thank you to Rachael from BFC in the community for a wonderful STEM lesson. The children learnt how to program Sphero Bolts.
STEM FORMULA ONE CLUB
Class 4 had a reflective class worship during our special year of prayer.
Class 4 enjoyed the visit from Bertie Bee and helped raise money by participating in a penalty shoot out with Bertie Bee as the goalkeeper.
CYCLE A - 2023-2024
This half-term we will be following the Topic grid below. Our class novel this half-term is The Nowhere Emporium by Ross Mackenzie.
In English, we have been looking at work based around a short film called Alma. The children loved the 'hook' lesson where they became H.T.C.I.S and had to investigate cases of missing children!
In art, we have been looking at a Space theme and have made a collograph plate for printing.
