We are now a Green Flag Award School! We have also achieved the Live Simply Award.    July 2023

               

                                                         

The Eco Warriors have now started a new recycling scheme in school.  We can now recycle plastic pens! The box is situated in the resource area next to the Battery Recycle box.  Another step to achieving our ECO goals. 

 

The children attended an assembly all about our Eco objectives this year and our school pledge to 'Live Simply', 'Live sustainably' and 'Live in solidarity' in partnership with CAFOD.

Our new compost bin was delivered and the children have been filling it up with all the fruit waste from break times.

 

Miss Taylor and the Eco Warriors held a Fairtrade stall. 

                                 

                                  

 

As part of 'The Great British Spring Clean', the Eco Warriors carried out a litter pick. They collected a lot of rubbish!
