Anti Bullying Day

  • The Anti-bullying day on Friday was great. The children in KS1 joined in a variety of activities such as circle time and role play to discuss friendship, bullying and issues around these.  They produced posters to display around school.  KS2 focused on cyber bullying and online safety and how this can affect people. This year's Anti-Bullying Week had the theme ‘One Kind Word’ Kindness is more important today than it has ever been. The isolation of the last year has underlined how little acts of consideration can break down barriers and brighten the lives of the people around us. This is one of the reasons, that ‘One Kind Word’ has been chosen as the theme of Anti-Bullying Week

The school was a sea of blue  as we finished off our Anti Bullying Week with an assembly from Class 3. They reminded us about how small acts of kindness make a big difference, and they sang a beautiful song about being able to count on your friends.
